HOW TO GET MY KITCHEN SINKS TO BE SMOOTH FLOWING?

Written by crizlai on Jul 28th, 2008 | Filed under: home, life, living, rant, solutions, tips

It always gets into my nerves when some inconsiderate housemates force unwanted food down the kitchen sink and caused it to clog. Not only will the sink emit unpleasant odor, it will also stall my process of preparing a meal as more and more unwashed dishes get stacked up. I still wonder why some people have that bad habit when the rubbish bin is just a step away. What would you do when you have clogged kitchen sinks or drains in the house? Using harmful chemicals to unclog the kitchen sinks might not be a good idea as that is where we handle all the food we consume, not forgetting the utensils that we wash there daily.

Here are some of the measurements I applied to prevent such happenings. Firstly, I would use a food trapper to trap all the remains from the washing of the dishes and throw the remains into the rubbish bag. With this preventive measurement, I still get some inconsiderate housemates forcing food remains down the pipeline. When will they learn to be more responsible? That’s a big question mark!

Whenever situation like this occur, I would have to think of the next step which is to mix up some non-chemical based solution to flush the food remains down the drain. One of the more commonly used solutions I did was to mix half a cup of baking soda with half a cup of vinegar in a large container and pour fizzing solution quickly down the sink pipeline and left it covered for about 10 minutes. The combined solution will break the fatty acids into soap and glycerine. I would then pour a kettle of boiling water down the pipeline to further flush it down. This method has never failed so far as I have smooth flowing drainage after each application. If you have problems with clogged kitchen sinks or drains, you should try this method out.

I have the problem of getting rid of my acnes ever since I was young. I have tried many products on the market but nothing seemed to help. To visit a skin specialist for treatments would be quite costly. It could cost up to a few hundred dollars per visit and it was beyond my means.

You can say that it was sheer luck that I stumbled upon the authority on acne one day while surfing the internet. The website was so comprehensive that it provided all the available acne related products on one website. Not only did I get to find out more on the safety, efficiency, quality and company background of the products that are suitable for my skin, I get to buy best value products which I can save a lot of money.

One product that caught my attention most is Acnexus. The testimonials that I read was so convincing that I had decided to get one for myself. This All Natural Acne Treatment scrub does not contain any of those mineral oils, alcohols, parabens, harsh soaps or benzoyl peroxide which can be harmful if used long term. The 27 all natural anti-acne ingredients not only cleanse, exfoliate, repair, renew, revitalize, moisturize, supplement and nourish the skin, it comes as an all-in-one product. Can you imagine how much I have saved up by not having to purchase individual steps products as most other companies offered? If you need a solution for acnes but have a tight budget, I would recommend you to try out Acnexus.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

I have known many friends in the USA having financial problems in keeping their property during the recent economy crisis. With the steep hike in the gas prices, more and more people would be affected. Thus, it won’t be long before they are going to be homeless. Isn’t it a huge headache to decide whether to use the limited money available to buy gases or to get food for the family?

I have experienced the pinch in my pocket too recently. With the amount of money I had earned through my sleepless fight against time and opportunity to get more income, I ended up spending more on my medical bills which is no longer cheap. The worst thing that ever happened here is that with the increase in gasoline price, the prices of groceries also shot up rocket high. What I bought few months back had gone up almost double. Can you imagine what will happen next if I were to spend without thinking of the actual needs for the items I had always wanted?

Luckily I am more fortunate than most of my friends out there. At least I have a roof over my head and a place to sleep comfortably in now. The best thing that I had done was to pay off my house when I was capable of doing so. Even if I were to be hard hit by the slowdown in my businesses, I can still rely on applying for mortgage loans.

I have heard from my friends that even the financial institutions are forcing many people out of their property in the US at the present moment just to cut loses during this economy crisis. So, who else can they rely on? Well, there are many reputable mortgage lenders in the market who are compassionate enough to assist you in your financial woes. Who knows by considering one of them may just help you save your property for many generations to come.

YOU ARE GETTING TOO FAT

Written by crizlai on Jun 13th, 2008 | Filed under: awareness, diet, health, life, medical, product, test, tips

I am getting panicky to go for my blood test this weekend. After getting the last test result, my results were so poor that I could just collapse anytime with the bad cholesterol overpowering my good cholesterol levels. My body index and weight were blah blah blah. Do I need to say some more? In short, I am getting too fat and not watching over my diet properly.

Through research, a normal person should have a balance diet which consists of about 55% of carbohydrate, 30% of fat and 15% of protein. Anything that exceeded that percentage will eventually make you a walking time bomb. A high consumption of fatty food will cause potential heart disease and cancer. A high protein will cause the body to lose calcium, thus making the bones brittle prone to accidents.

Many people recommended Phentermine without a prescription by a certified dietitian. The problem with this product is that it is too costly during this economy dilemma. On top of that the product is rather hard to get in the market. Maybe I should consider looking into the possibilities of obtaining more reasonable products such as Orovo, Nuphedragen, Noxycut, 7-DFBX, CurvaTrim, HydroxyCut, AmbiSlim PM, TrimSpa X32, 72Hr Slimming Pill or LipoSeduction.

I have not tested out the products myself but I guessed that if those who had tried out the products and got some improvements out of them, should know if those products work well or not.

THINK RICH TO GET RICH

THINK RICH

“There is a secret psychology to money. Most people don’t know about it, that’s why most people never become financially successful. A lack of money is not the problem, it is merely a symptom of what’s going on inside you.” - T. Harv Eker

It is undeniable that trying to be rich is what most people will have in their minds all the time but thinking without actions will be useless. Will attending courses, seminars, listening to CDs and reading the hundreds of books available in the market really help a person to achieve his dream? In my opinion, it does help when a person have the motivation to succeed in life but how long will this short blast of energy sustain? Most of the time, he will end up where he had started – Square One.

As T. Harv Eker had stated, “If your subconscious FINANCIAL BLUEPRINT is not SET for success, nothing you learn, nothing you know, nothing you do will make much a difference.” Isn’t this statement so true in our lives? Throughout our growing up years, we tried to be successful, just to prove to our parents and others that we can make it. Most of the time, we would encounter more failures and short term successes that we can ever keep track of. No matter how hard we had tried and the long hours we had put into, things just never work out well. Don’t you feel stressful seeing others in the same business soaring successfully while you are in your office “catching flies with a pair of chopsticks”?

It is all in the mind as I had always said. Rich people, middle class and poor people think differently. Rich people would not give up until they had seen their first million, middle class people would just pull through just to make ends meet, whereas poor people would hardly take any actions in improving their lives further. Unless and until the mindset of a person is changed to be successful, nothing will work well. How do I know this? It is because I purchased and read a lot of best selling books on the ways to be successful in life.

You can google on T. Harv Eker and his Millionaire Mind Intensive books and seminars to find out how he has helped thousands of his students and businesses to jump out from their “leaks” in their “toolboxes” to be successful in life.

HAVING THE RIGHT SINK FOR YOUR BATHROOM

Written by crizlai on Apr 22nd, 2008 | Filed under: home, living, tips

It is hardly surprising that the bathrooms of today do not resemble those of yesteryears. Trendy, modern and custom-designed accessories have replaced the once dull, unattractive and lack of sophistication fixtures of the olden times. Elegance and creativity gladly prevail in the bathroom décor of most homes today.

Even a simple bathroom can be just as appealing as its more extravagant counterparts. The best part is that there is no fix set of rules or look to abide. Simplicity also means flexibility and more forgiving towards the wallet. The center theme of a simple bathroom revolves around optimal level of comfort and a tasteful mix and match look. The look can be from carefree, smart casual, all the way to eclectic.

By applying creative coloring scheme, unique tilework, a different combination of accessories such as patterned shower curtains, potted plants, pedestal sinks, tropical look mirrors, wall posters or even some stuffed toys and personal memorabilias will make the whole atmosphere personal and cozier. There is no limit at all on how creative you can be in making that most inner sanctum of your house a relax place to be.

THE SNAKEHEAD POWER

Written by crizlai on Apr 22nd, 2008 | Filed under: health, medical, tips

Have you heard about the tissue healing value of the Snakehead Murrel (Channa striatus or Ikan Haruan)? Many states in the USA and countries like Australia prohibited the breeding of the Snakeheads as they can become invasive species and cause ecological damage as they are top-level predators. But in many of the Asian and African countries, they are bred as a valuable food and medical source. The fish has been traditionally used in Asian cooking for those post pregnancy and post operation patients as it has miraculous healing effects for wounds.

A few years back, a local professor found 4 lipo-protein compounds, complex molecules containing amino and fatty acids that are responsible for wound healing. When absorbed into our body system, the lipo-proteins will react to the broken human tissue and catalyze fibroblast or scar tissue development. Ongoing researches are still being done to fine tune the dosage and extract the lipo-proteins for pharmaceutical development. Surprisingly, these lipo-proteins can only be found in wild snakeheads as aqua-cultured ones were found to be not so effective.

Let us hope that by working closely with a clinical laboratory service company, an exact formula can be developed soon to help those with wound healing difficulty especially those diabetic and cancer patients.

THE ADVANTAGES OF HAVING THE RIGHT SADDLES

Written by crizlai on Apr 19th, 2008 | Filed under: hobby, life, rant, tips

I have always dreamt of staying in a ranch and taking horse rides to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the countryside. Can you imagine how fresh and unpolluted the air is compared to the urban skyscrapers filled city? Staying healthy and staying away from the hustle and bustle of the city whenever I could have become my alternate lifestyle. It is indeed a great change of environment to be able to breathe in fresh clean air.

Riding a horse is not so hard if you are well equipped with the correct equipments and accessories for the trip. There are a lot of different brands of saddles and safety helmets available in the market. Make sure that you choose saddles that are designed well for riding. You need to get one with enough room to slide forward and backward. Furthermore, you have to ascertain that it is comfortable to you as well as your horse.

On top of that, you have to ensure that the safety helmets are meant for equestrian purposes and not any other biking helmets. Equestrian safety helmets are designed to protect the back of the head in case you fall backwards. Moreover, if you are still new in this, never go on a trip alone without any companion. You might not know when accident will happen and you really needed someone’s help.

DO I NEED READING MAGNIFIERS?

Written by crizlai on Apr 19th, 2008 | Filed under: health, home, life, tips

Do I ready need to have at least one reading magnifier in my possession? That is the question I have always asked myself. The answer is yes. It is not that I have poor eyesight or am getting too old to see things clearer. The reason is that nowadays a lot of the labels especially the prescription labels are with such small prints that it strained the eyes just to be able to read them.

On top of that, some of the clauses in an agreement are typed so small that it would be risky if you did not read and understand them well prior to signing up. There are many type of reading magnifiers around the market place, ranging from lighted table top magnifiers, hand held magnifiers, pocket magnifiers, to LED illuminated magnifiers for you to choose. Get one today as you might not know when you really need it urgently.
