PESKY ACNES PLEASE GO AWAY!

Written by crizlai on Sep 30th, 2008 | Filed under: acne, life, living, rant, stress

I was not the perfect health recently and I get even more stressful when one of my pets was done with one weird sickness that caused her to grow a few soft like horns on her forehead. She’s only 9 months old and she should not be facing this type of skin disorder. With all the running about in the humid tropical weather to get the best treatment for her, I realized that I’m beginning to have some sore spots on my face. It’s a sign of getting acne and I dread having those pesky little red spots all over my face.

I was wondering if it has to do with my stress level. Each time I get stressed out with problems surrounding my daily life, those acnes would suddenly pop up on my face mysteriously. I do not know if there has been proven research that stress would cause acne but it did happen in my case.

I was contemplating whether to try out some of those homemade remedies for acne. They might be cheap but I was having the fear that it might worsen my acnes problem as there was no medical proof that it would not have side effects. I guessed I better seek the advice of the professionals to be on the safe side. There are certain things in life you just can’t be frugal, especially any facial problems. Let me get the contact of the nearest acne treatment clinic to make the appointment now.

I'm thirsty for a drink now. Would you be kind enough to treat me?

I WILL NEED SOMEONE TO CLEAN UP THIS MESS

Having a surprise party to congratulate a few of my staff on their recent promotions was sure a great one. It showed that with a harmonious working environment and teamwork, they had managed work hand in hand closely with everyone to seal the biggest contract ever in the history of the company. Isn’t that just wonderful?

Oh no! Whose smart idea was it to throw some confetti in the office to celebrate their success? Can you imagine the amount of those teeny weenie circles being scattered all over the carpet? Gosh! Even the hard reached corners had them. Don’t they know that it would be really hard to clear those mess they had created? I guessed I won’t want to spoil their joyous moods now. I would just get the cleaners to clear them after we had done with the party.

It would not be so hard for them at all after I had invested in a commercial carpet extractor cum cleaner as one of my office supplies for the company. I have seen them using that equipment and it sure helped make their lives so much easier. You should have seen how fast they had cleaned those hard reached corners. It was within seconds. I have never regretted making the investment ever since.

WHAT SHOULD I GET FOR MY GYM?

Having a room as your personal gym can be real exciting if you know exactly what exercise equipments you should get. There are thousands of equipments out the in the market place and choosing one might not be so easy after all. Where do you look for your perfect exercise equipment then? If you have to budget, you can get what you want and replace them with latest models anytime you wishes to. What would happen then if you have a tight budget and yet you would want to stay as fit as you can?

Well, here is one solution. You can just look for the ideal equipment which would not only help you to get rid of those unnecessary fatty pasts of your body but also help in maintaining your fitness for as long as you ever wanted. Have you heard about NordicTrack’s Incline Trainer? This great exercise equipment will shape up your body with just 20 minutes of regular workout. What made this equipment my ideal choice is that I can incline the platform to the percentage I like. The greater the inclination I set, the more calories I could burn. Moreover, you would be able to build and sculpt muscle as never before. Isn’t that what most of us would want?

Nobody would regret getting one for the family. It is worth every amount you had sweated out. It’s a real value for your money and it would last you for a long time.

MY AUTO INSURANCE SHOT UP SO HIGH?

Written by crizlai on Sep 27th, 2008 | Filed under: insurance, life, living, rant

Recently, the prices of goods and fuel had shot up so high. With the same amount of money spent previously would not even be enough to get food for the entire family to last for a week. It is getting tougher and tougher each day and the only thing that has not risen is the salary. Moreover, although the fuel prices has rocketed to all time high and subsequently came down twice, it did not help much in saving more. In fact with that little amount saved, it won’t even be enough for a week’s food supplies.

Some food sellers are real smart. They did not increase their pricing at all but the portion served gets lesser and lesser each day. As a result, consumers would have to order more to fill up their tummies. At the end of the day, don’t you think that the consumer would have doubled their expenditure? Now who is to be blamed for the problem? Do you think it’s the economy factor, the suppliers’ factor or the food sellers’ part?

By the way, something else has increased other than the fuel. Auto insurance! I have just received my car’s insurance renewal notice and the charges had jumped up by 30%. I was shocked at the increase as it has nothing to do with consumable products. I have to review the company again. It’s time for me to compare auto insurance quotes from the rest of the agencies out there. A dollar saved a day will surely helped in many ways.

I WANT A SMOOTHER FACE!

I did a little survey amongst my friends to find out what their fears were and surprisingly other than being in financial crisis, the next was to have acnes on their faces. Living in a tropical country has one major disadvantage and that would be the humidity almost throughout the year. Hot weather causes sweat and eventually sweat would clog those open pores with bacteria, oil, greases and dirt. Thus, acnes would pop up on the face if no proper cleansers were used.

There are so many acne related products in the market. What would you use for your acne treatment? Whatever you choose, go for something that contains natural or herbal ingredients. It might take you time and money to get the products that will suit your sensitive skin but the time spent would be worth your efforts. One thing you have to take note is that not necessary the most expensive product will cure your acne problems. Although the product might be scientifically proven for majority of users, there are chances you may be in the minority group that would not agree to the product. Get a skin scan. You would have a clearer picture of what type of products are suitable for your skin type.

No matter what acne products you use, you would still need to wash your face at least twice a day. Keep those hands off your face as you would tend to scratch your face unconsciously when it becomes itchy. Popping acne pimples would not be what you want to speed up your already affected face. Remember to watch your diet, sleep early, drink lots of water and exercise regularly to prevent acne breakouts.

I NEED THE BEST HOME THEATER SYSTEM

Having the luxury of living in a 3,693 sq ft condominium with spacious balconies with views of the panoramic sea and city skyline was wonderful. Upon entering the condominium, you can see a stretch of casuarinas trees encircled by the sight of beautiful sunsets, sound of the splashing waves against the glittering white sand and soft air from the tropical breezes. Don’t you think this is life?

Everything seems to fall into places right now except that I am short of something… a perfect home theater system for my living room. I have checked around for a system that would be ideal for that space but there were just too many brands around that confused my decision further. It was not until I met a sound engineer friend of mine that my dilemma was solved.

Since he was the expert in getting the best sound effects for my room, I allowed him to choose the best brand for me. He recommended me the Harman Kardon CP65 5.1-channel Home Theater In-A-Box with DVD player, a perfectly matched and powerful home theater system. The whole system has the AVR 347`s DCDi(R) by Faroudja processing and scaling, a powerful high-current amplifier and two-input, Simplay HD(TM)-verified connectivity, then add the DVD 48`s 1080p playback of conventional DVDs through its Simplay HD-verified output, and complete the system with the power of the HKTS 18`s perfectly matched speakers.

This is what I call life! Now I can invite all my friends over to watch the Barclays Premier League on TV. I think I better head down to the nearest supermarket now to stock up my refrigerator with cans of drinks and some munchies.

GETTING THE RIGHT JOB

Written by crizlai on Sep 11th, 2008 | Filed under: awareness, life, living, rant

In life, anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way. What could be the worst possible time than when you are in need of a job? No job, no income. No income, no money. No money, no life, as you would not be able to feed even your stomach full. What would be the first step then to get a job? You would need a resume.

Many people thought that applying for a job is easy just by simply writing a normal resume. What they do not know is that most employers would look at the resumes seriously. One of the most looked at section would be the salary section where you would state how much you would be asking from the employer. Putting a high amount would not be impressive in the eyes of the employer. Neither would stating an amount too low be beneficial to you. Somehow you will need to find out how much your job would be worth in your area.

Another mistake that would cost your failure in securing a job would be the content and layout of your resume. The resume would look like a novel with no bullets and filled with cluttered information. Moreover, the font size would be either too small or too big, no focus at all, one too many spelling errors, inconsistency in alignments, and no “ingredients” at all in it.

There are so many mistakes that most of the applicants would make during an application for a job. If you are not sure on how to get the best resume to secure a job, I would advise you to check on some of the many Boston resumes available online. At least you would be having some guidelines to your perfect resume.

LUMBAGO AND ME

Written by crizlai on Sep 1st, 2008 | Filed under: diet, emotion, exercise, health, life, rant

That word is definitely not the name of a person nor is it the name for a dance. Lumbago just merely means low back pain and it can be really painful. I was literary sitting at my computer desk working all the time but suddenly I felt the room began to sway about crazily and my chest began to stiffen up. I thought I was going to die of a heart attack but I was still sitting there feeling grumpier and moodier than before. Any small little mistakes done by the people surrounding me will get them being bombarded by me for no apparent reasons.

Lumbago has crept into my life sneakily and it had caused my whole body systems to be chaotic. I began to suspect my sitting posture since my work will involve working in front of the computer for a long period of time. Unfortunately, my assumption was wrong as I even experience some chilling pain on my spine when I was moving too. I went for a blood checkup and everything was fine except that I was a bit high on the cholesterol level. Now I wondered if it was due to the high cholesterol level plus the lack of exercise.

Even after a small cup of hot beverage, I would feel so lethargic that I would doze off just like that. My weight bloated up although I had lost my appetite for some of my favorite food. My heartbeat was crazy when I checked on my rate through a pulse oximeter. It was pumping at 115/mt which is above the norm of 70-90/mt. My body felt so tense and my mind was restless all the time. I am slowly getting myself into depression and anxiety.

These symptoms seemed to come and go but this time it was the worst. It could be due to the stress, lifestyle, diet or even inconsistent time for meals and sleep. It could also be Lumbago mischievously making my whole body to be disobedient. I have lost of answers to my ever painful back pain and it is freaking me out to think about the worst scenario for my health issues. Consuming painkiller was just an alternative but it would be bad for my body in a long run. I would need to settle the root of the issue once and for all to get out of this painful misery.
